The count down has begun to this year’s Arran Open Studio taking place in August … so we will be getting everyone inspired by highlighting the 50+ participants over the next few months.
So beginning with ‘A’ we have Amanda at Blackwaterbarn Designs. Her handcrafted contemporary, woven and printed, designs are impressionistic in style and inspired by the glorious local landscape, skies, flowers and wildlife.

You have until 27th April to visit our exhibition in the Harbour Arts Centre Irvine. The centre is open Wednesday-Saturday.
Have a coffee after viewing our exhibition or some lunch in their great wee cafe.
We also recommend a visit to the Scottish maritime museum , only a few minutes walk from HAC. It’s a great wee area of Irvine to explore.

We visited Harbour Arts Centre again today to help with the hanging of Arran Open Studios exhibition.
14th March-27th April
All the participating artists had wrapped their work very carefully , some more than others @elainemackiewright , it didn’t beat us, we finally managed to get your work out of the packaging!
Thanks to Lynn and Kevin for a warm welcome to the centre, we leave it all in your capable hands.

Eco Savvy vehicle is all packed and ready to go!
Hope the weather and ferry gods are with us today when we transport over 60 pieces of art to the Harbour Art Centre in Irvine. The exhibition begins on 14th March until 27th April.
Thank you to @arranecosavvy for the hire of the van. It’s great when community organisations collaborate for their mutual benefit.
